Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies PlayServ Limited uses on playserv.com and why. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device to remember information between page loads or visits. We also use localStorage (browser-local storage) for the same purpose — the label “cookies” in this policy covers both.

2. How we use them

The public marketing site (playserv.com) is a static site. We use cookies and localStorage for a deliberately small set of jobs:

• Remembering your cookie-consent choice so we don't re-prompt on every visit.
• Keeping you signed in once the product app (app.playserv.com) is live.
• Measuring aggregate site usage with Google Analytics 4 — only after you consent (see section 3).

We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising, retargeting, or to build a profile of your activity on other websites.

3. Categories we may set

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to function. Cannot be disabled.

• playserv-cookie-consent (localStorage) — your cookie choice and timestamp.
• Session cookies from the product app, once authenticated.

Analytics (optional)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (property G-427RR700J0) to compile aggregate usage statistics for the marketing site. It runs in Consent Mode v2 (advanced):

• Before you consent — no cookies are set. Anonymous, cookieless pings are sent to Google Analytics; they contain no identifiers and are used only for aggregate modelling.
• After you click “Accept all” — the following cookies are set:
  • _ga — 2 years — distinguishes visitors.
  • _ga_<container> — 2 years — keeps session state.

Purpose: aggregate usage statistics only. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd; data may be processed in the EU and the United States under EU adequacy decisions and Standard Contractual Clauses. If you choose “Essential only,” no Google Analytics cookies are set.

Marketing / advertising

We do not use marketing cookies. Google Analytics advertising consent signals are permanently denied — no ads personalisation, no cross-site tracking.

4. Third parties

The marketing site loads resources from these third-party services. Each may set cookies under their own policies:

• Google Fonts — serves the Inter, Space Grotesk, and JetBrains Mono fonts. Google's data handling is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics — measures aggregate site usage after you consent (see section 3). Provided by Google Ireland Ltd; data handling is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Calendar — the “Book a demo” link opens a Google Calendar appointment page only when you click it.
• Cloudflare — we use Cloudflare DNS. No Cloudflare tracking cookies are set while the site runs in DNS-only mode.

5. Managing your choice

You can change your choice at any time:

• Click Cookie settings (also available in the footer) to re-open the consent banner.
• Clear cookies and localStorage for playserv.com in your browser's site settings.
• Use your browser's Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals — we honour them where technically possible.
